Abstract:
While one studies on a Riemannian symmetric space an analysis
similar to the Fourier
analysis on Euclidian space: the spherical Fourier transform, on an ordered
symmetric space one can
develop a spherical Laplace analysis. Its study is new and many basic
problems are still open. In
this short note I list ten problems about the spherical functions on an
ordered symmetric space and the spherical Laplace transform.
